Personal Note from Ron Bredemeyer When I was eight years old, I began to regularly spend time in the auto repair shop in Big Spring, Texas, where my Dad worked as an auto mechanic and later as the Service Manager. The mechanics in my Dad’s shops would save old carburetors, fuel pumps, transmissions, etc., for me to work on when I would come in on Saturday. I learned by doing and being involved in repair of vehicles. From that time forward, I have been working in and around automobile and truck maintenance shops. Even today, my favorite pastime and hobby is restoring four-wheel drive vehicles. I have restored some older units, which have been featured in nationally circulated four-wheel drive magazines. The point of this story is to demonstrate that I am not just a “book learned” kid from West Texas, but I have been totally involved in maintenance and understand what really goes on in a repair shop. I understand the problems faced every day by the technicians and the management personnel. This uniquely qualifies me to assist you in the development and successful resolution of your case. While serving on the Board of Directors of a large, successful less-than-truckload carrier and on the Board of a carrier in a turnaround situation, I gained a well rounded view of the financial conditions, operating problems, and personnel issues involved in successfully operating a trucking company in today’s competitive environment. This experience gives me the unique ability to offer opinions and observations that consider all factors-- observations that will ultimately make your case stronger and better prepared. Civil litigation involving trucks, trailers, forklifts, autos, and trucking real estate issues requires the services of knowledgeable experts, from discovery through resolution. I have been actively involved with vehicles since the age of eight, and have dedicated most of my professional career to managing equipment in private industry. The complex aspects of equipment and the associated maintenance programs, regulations, operational issues and problems can be simplified and put into proper perspective, and the facts reported in concise and understandable terms. You will receive the very best information and support available, tailored to your particular needs, as I will work directly with you. Few experts can match my experience and knowledge of truck specifications, operations, maintenance and regulations governing commercial vehicles in the United States. Don’t settle for just a “safety expert” who claims to know equipment and its maintenance. Call me for an initial assessment of your case at no charge. P.S. I am one of only fifteen people in Texas to be certified as a “Fleet Maintenance Professional” at the Director Level. |
