The Carney & Hammond Forensic Document Laboratory examines documents submitted to the laboratory and about which there is some question regarding the authenticity or spuriousness of those documents. Questioned or disputed documents may involve medical records, anonymous letters, Wills, altered or obliterated writings and various financial instruments.

Mr. Carney is the Vice-President and certfied by the American Board of Forensic Document Examiners(ABFDE). He is Past President of the Southeastern Association of Forensic Document Examiners, is a member of the American Society of Questioned Document Examiners (ASQDE) and the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS). He provides forensic document examination and expert testimony for questioned document problems. He has twenty-five (25) years of experience and has testified in Federal, State and local courts throughout the world; he is available for civil and criminal cases.
