Consultant to the United States Departments of: Defense, Army, Navy, Air Force,
Commerce, Justice and Transportation as well as to many industries and non-profit
institutions; member of U.S. Government committees Highway Research Boards and
the NASA Research Advisory Committee on Control, Guidance and Navigation; Arbitrator,
Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service. Created and taught the undergraduate
and graduate programs in Human Factors Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania
School of Engineering and Applied Science; NATO lecturer on Human Factors Engineering;
contributed many articles to scientific and engineering journals and chapters
to engineering reference books; referee for submissions to the international
journal Accident Analysis and Prevention.
