Douglas H. Fraser, MD

Dr. Fraser is a psychiatrist and psychopharmacologist in private practice in Pensacola, Florida since 1994. He is certified in Clinical Psychopharmacology and board certified in Psychiatry and Forensic Medicine.

Dr. Fraser received his BA, Magna Cum Laude, from Temple University and his MD from Jefferson Medical College, both in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Prior to training in Psychiatry at the University of South Florida, Dr. Fraser served as a Naval Flight Surgeon.

In addition to his private clinical practice, Dr. Fraser serves as a consultant to the Children's Home Society of Florida, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. He is on the speakers' bureau for Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories and Forest Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Fraser has also served as expert consultant to attorneys, which has included expert witness and court testimony. He is licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida (#54293.)

Professional affiliations include the American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology, the American Psychiatric Association, the American Medical Association and the American College of Forensic Examiners. Dr. Fraser is Northwest Florida chapter president of the Florida Psychiatric Society.
