Herschel R. Lessin MD

Dr. Lessin is a full time board certified practicing pediatrician with The Children's Medical Group, a large single specialty group with 8 offices in 3 counties in NY's Hudson Valley. He graduated from Union College Summa Cum Laude and attended Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, California. He went on to do his Pediatric Specialty training at Yale. Dr. Lessin is a senior partner in his group and has served as its Medical Director and Director of Clinical Research. He is very active with the American Academy of Pediatrics at a national level and serves on several of its national committees. He is a certified managed care executive and serves on the board of a regional not for profit managed care organization. He has gone on volunteer medical mission trips to such countries as Vietnam, Ghana, Honduras, Guatemala, Dominican Republic and Jamaica. He is an avid reader and an avid tennis player.
