Tom Briggs has more than 24 years of law enforcement experience, retiring from the US Army Military Police Corps in grade of Lt Col in 1977, where he specialized in criminal investigations and physical security designs for sensitive installations. Corporate experience includes 1977-1979 as Director of Security for Sambo's Restaurants, Inc., Santa Barbara, CA, where he developed all loss prevention programs for more than 1000 restaurants and two large distribution centers. In 1979, he joined KFC Corporation as the Worldwide Vice President for Security and Risk Management. Responsibilities at KFC (a division of PepsiCo) included oversight of security programs at more than 9000 restaurants and office facilities in 70+ countries. After retiring from KFC in 1996, Tom co-founded The InterPro Group where he currently holds the title of Executive Vice President and is located in Louisville, KY. He holds numerous certifications and distinctions, among them being designated a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and being the recipient of a Life Achievement Award presented in 1989 by the National Food Service Security Council.
