I am an Ivy trained, board certified anesthesiologist with over 27 years of clinical, teaching and research experience. My publications number well over 300 articles and three medical textbooks. My clinical experience includes private practice and 13 years as an attending physician at major urban university medical centers. In addition to my M.D. degree, I hold M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in chemistry. I am fellowship trained in clinical pharmacology in addition to anesthesiology. Also, I have been active in the development and testing of medical devices.
