Stephen Edelglass

Stephen Edelglass received his Ph.D. in metallurgy from the Stevens Institute of Technology. He also holds masters degrees in physics, from the Stevens Institute of Technology, and in mechanical engineering, from the Massachusetts Insitute of Technology. Dr. Edelglass did his undergraduate work in mechanical engineering at M.I.T. Dr. Edelglass founded the materials science program at The Cooper Union School of Engineering, where he was a faculty member for many years before becoming Director of Science at TEF. Among several books Stephen Edelglass has authored the Rossi Prize winning ENGINEERING MATERIALS SCIENCE; Mechanical Behavior of Solids. Dr. Edelglass has also written several book chapters concerning forensic engineering and a number of technical articles in scientific journals.Stephen Edelglass is a Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Examiners.
