Edmund Locard

Dr. Locard of Lyons, France, was the first Forensic Technician and Pathologist who is of inspirational counsel through an out of print publication, The Invisible Web. The Doctor coined the phrase "something is taken, something is left" during the course of the forensic event between the witnesses, the scene and the evidence. This exchange of forensic data is known as Locard's Principle.
