The Family Therapy & Trauma Center has usual business hours between 9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday. However, we can set appointments for weekends, evenings, and holidays if necessary. The Executive Administrator for the Family Therapy & Trauma Center is Susan Sheppard. She is considered a confidential administrator and would be happy to help with questions or problems.

The Family Therapy & Trauma Center is comprised of two practices. One practice is a general marriage and family therapy practice which concentrates on adjustments to specific life changes encountered by individuals, couples and families. Here therapy and counseling has a decided systemic focus.

The other practice centers on the prevention, assessment (therapeutic and forensic), and treatment of the distinct specialties of each clinician. Dr. Harris works with emotional trauma cases including posttraumatic stress disorder. Ms. Stichnoth works with sexually problematic behaviors in children.

Additional services (provided by associates) include: family mediation and custody evaluation. Dr. Gunter, from the Center for Positive Family Living, works with sexually problematic adolescents and adults.
